Balcony Weather: My Photos

By HOWARD BERGER

TORONTO (Aug. 26) – For more than six weeks, I have developed something of a cottage industry with my trusty Nikon: Snapping photographs of sunrises, sunsets and various weather patterns from the balcony of my north-facing, mid-town apartment.

So much for the separation blues.

SETTING SUN, OR DID JUPITER PAY US A VISIT?

I’ve chosen the best images – some 129 of them – to share with you in this blog. I must say, they are quite astonishing – thanks, almost solely, to my various camera functions, including a wicked zoom lens. The charm of an unobstructed view from 14 stories – sun rising to the right; setting to the left – has made this a thoroughly enchanting hobby.

Please enjoy what is likely to be Part 1 in a series.
