Back In The Day… MY Day

TORONTO (Oct. 5) — Four decades is a damned long time… unless you remember the time.

As such, the middle–1970’s — during my teenage years — seems like only yesterday; particularly when I bust out a box of hockey magazines from the ol’ collection. I look at the covers: Bobby Orr… Phil Esposito… Ken Dryden… Darryl Sittler… Lanny McDonald — splendid players from my youth that I’ve come to know, personally, in the interim. Yes, 40 years is a long time… and, thankfully, it’s been a mostly wonderful time.

Please enjoy this brief hockey retrospective:

  1. Hi Howard;

    Thanks for sharing these. You and I are of the same vintage. The magazine covers definitely bring back memories.

    Great stuff.
